Letter from David Greenwalt:

To: The many Miracle Workers who made all the difference on this show
From: David Greenwalt, the richest man in Bedford Falls

So there I am, ready to kill myself - all right, maybe just ready to never write again, after what ABC did to this best of all possible shows - and Richard Hatem shows up with news of these beautiful and rabid "Miracles" fans. These fanatics who just won't let it die, they've mounted a campaign, they're writing letters, they're taking out ads - paying for the damn ads - trying to tell anyone who will listen that this show is important and good and worth watching and hey, I have to clamber on down off the bridge and say, maybe it is worth going on after all.

Honest to God (who may or may not be here), this is the nicest thing that has ever happened to me. And that includes stumbling in on Rich that time in the shower. Somebody saw the shows, somebody was touched by them, somebody cared enough to raise a big stink about them going away.

And believe me, these last couple of months, that is the only thing standing between me and darkest night. (That and the shower thing.)

I loved working on this show - finding Richard and his amazing pilot seemed like Miracle enough - making twelve more great shows together was the icing. Getting cancelled was sucky.

You are my heroes. Thank you so much for caring.

See you on the bridge,
David
