MiraclesHQ.com Spotlights Kathy Browne!
Written by Heather LaFlame

June 24, 2003 - Today we say hello to 46-year old superfan Kathy Browne, who's a fine example of a Miracles superfan. Kathy has not only sent over one hundred twenty-five napkins and sixty letters in her efforts to save the show, but she was also one of the two highest donors to the Variety/Hollywood Reporter campaign.

Why does Kathy love Miracles? "I love the fact that some cataclysmic 'large event' is looming, and that Paul seems destined to play some role in it," she comments. She says that she was raised in a church and that "stuff like that has always fascinated me."

And of course, it doesn't hurt that Paul and Alva are two great-looking leading men. "I love the fact that neither Paul nor Alva are particularly hip or cool," she comments. "They don't seem to care at all about appearances." She also likes the fact that "there is something going on inside their heads at all times."

Kathy's favorite episode of the show is the pilot episode ("The Ferguson Syndrome"), with "Hand of God" a close second. Her favorite character is Paul. "He's not tough or macho, which is very refreshing," she says. "He seems kind of shy." For example, she enjoyed the moment in "The Patient" when Paul tracked down Raina in the park, then lost his nerve and turned away. "He probably wouldn't have talked to her if she hadn't seen him." And of course, Paul is "very easy on the eyes!"

Kathy plans to send Thank You napkins to the network that picks up Miracles - the napkins will include a 'kiss' in lipstick, with the words "God Bless (Network Name) for picking up Miracles!"

Kathy wants everyone to spread the word when the show gets picked up. She wants everyone to hold Miracles parties to ensure high ratings.

And with fans like Kathy, the campaign to save the show can't go anywhere but up!
